- Rings of continuous functions: characterization of topological spaces and topological groups through their algebras and rings of continuous functions.
- Abstract Harmonic Analysis: group algebras (group C*-algebra, Fourier-Stieltjes algebras ...), interpolation sets, duality...
- Automatic continuity: sufficient conditions to render an algebra homomorphism between Banach algebras continuous.
- Topological Dynamics: Discrete Dynamical Systems with linearly ordered phase sapce. Extensions obtained by means of C*-algebras.
- Singularities. Information Theory applications.
